Issues We Treat
Anxiety & Stress
Whether it is a constant hum of worry or specific panic triggers, we help you understand your nervous system's response to stress. Our goal is to move you from a state of "fight or flight" into a place of safety and regulation.
Depression & Mood Disorders
Depression often feels like walking through mud. We work with you to slowly re-engage with your life, identify the root causes of your mood shifts, and build a toolkit for navigating the darker days.
Trauma & PTSD
Trauma is not just about what happened to you; it’s about how your body remembers it. We offer trauma-informed care to help process past wounds so they no longer dictate your present reactions.
Reproductive & Women’s Health
Whether you’re struggling with infertility, IVF, miscarriage, pregnancy loss, or a new diagnosis like PCOS, or the broader shift of motherhood and identity, we can help you move from isolation and self-doubt into clarity.
Existential Questioning & Life Transitions
Who am I? Am I on the right path? These "big questions" can be paralyzing. We offer a space to explore meaning, purpose, and identity without the pressure to have immediate answers.
Eating Disorders & Body Image
Your relationship with food often mirrors deeper emotional needs. We provide a shame-free space to explore the roots of restriction, bingeing, or body criticism, helping you move from a place of control and shame toward intuition and nourishment. We have experiencing in treating all eating disorders including ARFID.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Exposure Work
Whether it is intrusive thoughts, compulsive rituals, or the constant need for certainty, OCD can make your own mind feel unsafe. Using exposure and response prevention (ERP), we help you build tolerance for uncertainty and discomfort, so you can move from avoidance into a place of trusting yourself.
Our Therapeutic Approaches
Relational Therapy
Relational therapy explores how past connections shape your current emotional life. We pay close attention to the dynamics that emerge between us in the therapy room to understand how you relate to others. This collaborative process helps you build greater self-awareness and develop healthier, more authentic ways of connecting.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
A structured approach that examines the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By identifying unhelpful thought patterns, we can change how you react to difficult situations and break cycles of negativity.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Originally developed for intense emotional struggles, DBT focuses on four key skills: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. It is about building a "life worth living" and finding balance between acceptance and change.
Mindfulness & Somatic Awareness
We believe healing happens in the body, not just the mind. We incorporate mindfulness techniques to help you stay present and become aware of where you hold tension and stress physically, allowing you to regulate your nervous system.
Cognitive Processing Therapy
We are both trained in CPT. CPT offers a structured, evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapy specifically designed to evaluate and treat Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and trauma-related symptoms.
Person-Centered Therapy
You are the expert on your own life. We provide the empathy and unconditional positive regard necessary for you to uncover your own solutions. Our role is not to "fix" you, but to walk alongside you as you find your own path forward.
